beside internet browsing , boring game apps, listening music, watching music video from you tube.
Can you call on your ipod touch for ABSOLUTELY FREE? dont say FRING apps (that is only a free apps from appstore) they will ask you get some credits & you have to PAY for it when you sign an account from their network (SIP/VOIP STUNT)
Can you watch live television show? ive tried several times with orblive apps but it wont work.
Ive tried searching another in google from our local tv network it works only in my window xp pc but when i try in my ipod touch it wont work i can see a small blue box & i dont know what does it mean.
i cant jailbreak my ipod touch 64gb coz its running 3.1.3 firmware
i thought buying ipod touch is worth for the money,i dont realized that i have to pay for everything from apps to network, music movies anything from apps store. I dont see anything special features with my ipodtouch, even i have a BELKIN N+ wireless router.
Comparing with cheap cell phones that made in china, you can browse internet ,chat mails game apps, can make a call & text, can watch live tv broadcast etc.
that why i asked what more can you do with your ipod touch.? sad to say im not happy of having
ipod touch & spend 400US dollars on it.If i know i just bought a laptop.

Hey Friends, I am planning to buy I touch. but 8 Gb model does not support Mic and I wonder whether I can use Skype or any VOIP in it.
My friend says I can plug in any headphone with mic in I touch and it shall work but I doubt.
I have no plan to spend 300$ on 16 GB which, actually supports VOIP and skype in particular.
Thanks.

At first sight, using any VoIP client on the iPhone or the iPod Touch (a.k.a. iDevices) may seem like a uninteresting thing. The reason for this is that Apple does not allow 3rd party applications to run in the background.
