I would like to hire someone to create a VOIP software customized to my own specification. Since I do not know much about this, I would like to know how much it would cost to hire a proffessional to do the job for me.
If I could be reffered to a professional, I will be grateful

The primary audience for this report is managers involved with the highest levels of the strategic planning process and consultants who help their clients with this task. The user will not only benefit from the hundreds of hours that went into the methodology and its application, but also from its alternative perspective on strategic planning relating to voice over internet protocol (voip) equipment and services in Barbados. As the editor of this report, I am drawing on a methodology developed at INSEAD, an international business school (www.insead.edu). For any given industry or sector, including voice over internet protocol (voip) equipment and services, the methodology decomposes a country’s strategic potential along four key dimensions: (1) latent demand, (2) micro-accessibility, (3) proxy operating pro-forma financials, and (4) macro-accessibility. A country may have very high latent demand, yet have low accessibility, making it a less attractive market than many smaller potential countries having higher levels of accessibility. With this perspective, this report provides both a micro and a macro strategic profile of voice over internet protocol (voip) equipment and services in Barbados. It does so by compiling published information that directly relates to latent demand and accessibility, either at the micro or macro level. The reader new to Barbados can quickly understand where Barbados fits into a firm’s strategic perspective. In Chapter 2, the report investigates latent demand and micro-accessibility for voice over internet protocol (voip) equipment and services in Barbados. In Chapters 3 and 4, the report covers proxy operating pro-forma financials and macro-accessibility in Barbados. Macro-accessibility is a general evaluation of investment and business conditions in Barbados.

I have an internet voip provider but I need to connect that to my land line phone. Please help me to connect so that I may call at low rates with my land line.
Answer by VoIPtalk
To use your analog telephone with a VoIP service requires the following:
1. Your VoIP provider must provide you with an ATA (analog telephone adapter)
Or, you need to subscribe with a BYOD VoIP service (Bring Your Own Device).
2. Once the ATA is connected to your Internet Ethernet connection and configured to work with your VoIP provider, then just plug you telephone into the ATA’s RJ-11 phone jack.
Now, you can talk using a regular telephone over VoIP connection. (no computer required)
This blog site explains how to configure a Linksys SPA2102-NA VoIP ATA to work with a BYOD VoIP provider and your telephone: http://blog.cqvoip.net/2009/12/configuring-linksyscisco-spa2102-with.html

use on Mac OS X
What do you recommend?
Answer by FunFred
Sprint’s 3G card. It is really fast (almost like their name…). Also, Sprint is pretty cheap.
However, if you already have a cell phone, it might be cheaper to add one of these to your current plan (with all of the cross-promotions and stuff).
I can’t give you a direct link (it requires a ZIP code), but if you go to Sprint’s site and click on Mobile Broadband Cards, you will find it.

Hi,
I am moving to Alpharetta, GA. I need an internet connection with these specs:
- at least 7mbit+ downstream
- at least 1mbit+ upstream
- no throttling
- ISP equipment supports VOIP and ISP equipment can be set up to use user’s own VOIP provider __OR__ ISP equipment can interface with user’s VOIP equipment
- wireless interface
Any recommendations?
Answer by Salem Dudley
High Speed Internet connection is one of the requirements needed for a VoIP phone system. VoIP is considerably the most preferred business phone system by many companies today because of its cost-effective advantage and excellent call management features.
