Hi,
i wanted to know what do you think would be the fastest way to call 300-400 telephone numbers from a list using voip? is there any program that can call numbers in sequence non-stop? let me know!
Answer by Jennifer
If you want to talk to the person at the other end, then I would suggest you take a look at ExpressDial which works seamlessly with the ExpressTalk softphone to dial a list of phone numbers in sequence.
If you want to just play an automated message to the people on the list, then you might want to take a look at the outbound dialing features of IVM.
Here are some links for you to read more. All three of these apps have free 14-day trials.

Something like Skype, but perminantly free. And if possible can anyone who’s R’Ed a program to be free upload and send a link?
Gautam, your retarded. Those are all mobile phones, and those ALL cost money. This sounds like your just making quick answers to get points.
those are all for mobile phones** (** = gramatical or spelling correction.)
why must most the people who answer my questions be stupid? THATS NOT FREE JACKASS!!!
Answer by Gautam
try either rebtel or jajah. Both are pretty good. Some countries you can call for free between the subscribed users. Also, try fonemine.com to call in usa and canada for free.

I wanted to find out from people who make a lot of internation calls what the cheapest method is to do this? i mean, my girl is in the philippines and im just dialing my regular number and sometimes my phone bill is like 0-0. its way too much. some people recommended i get a VOIP line instead of my phone and itll be cheaper. and other people are saying skype. i dont want her to have to download anything though. and skype you have to talk computer to computer right? i need something that can go through my regular phone because her computer hasnt worked lately, thats the whole reason my bill was so much. she had no email, instant messaging or anything so i was calling all the time, so thats why its so expensive. i need something to make the calls cheaper and VOIP sounds the best so far. anybody know about it? anybody make international calls a lot, have a similar situation to mine?
Answer by ?October Girl?
My dad’s bill is outrageous too. I think the only way to make it cheap is to use Skype, maybe? Send her the money you’re saving on phone bills to help get a computer to talk to you on. It really is cheaper.

“Call ended cause you logged off”, but I didin’t touch even a button. But the problem is that I change my provider, earlier I could make any call in any destination, and now I can’t. I think it’s provider lock, I have a usb modem with a phone card in. An I asked theme if the modem supports voip calls and they answered that supports. But till now I cannot make calls. I tried to turn off my firewall and the same result. Help me to resolve this problem. Thank you a lot! The provider is TMN, Portugal!

I know this sounds kind of boring and all not having a PBX (down the road) but this is for simple home use. I have a Cisco 2621XM w/ Call Manager Express, a Voice Gateway 200 w a 2 VIC 2FX card, and a 7906G VOIP IP Phone. All I (boringly) want to do is plug in a phone line into the VG200, run it through the 2621 w/ Call Manager Express, and ring ring. Sounds simple, over complicated for a basic phone line but there is a bit more to it down the road. Is this relatively easy to do? Also, how is licensing handled? Always the fun buster… Thanks!
Answer by Alvin B
It can be easy to do, if you know what you are doing. First you need to configure CME. From the command line you can go to config mode and go under telephony-service. There is a setup option there. That will get you up with basic features. You will then need to setup the ephone on the router, configure the voice port, make a dial peer and a dial plan, setup a trunk to the gateway….etc etc. Ok, so I lied, it is a little complicated. You can search Cisco.com and there are tons of config examples.
Enjoy.

I am looking for a VOIP service where I can call Trinidad and Tobago for deep discounted rates???
Answer by Delita
VOIP service I don’t know, but I”ve used a cheap service called “Penny Talk” to call Japan at 4 cents a minute. I think you ought to visit the website and sign up for an account. They’re extremely discounted rates for pretty much any country!
www.pennytalk.com . I *HOPE* they are still around and offering the low rates.

- I’ll be calling from the US
- I have a VOIP program on my Centro
- I know Skype is free from computers or Skype landline phones, but I can’t find a Skype program for Palm, only VOIP, so I’m wondering if it works the same?
- The two main countries I will be calling are the Slovak Republic and the Netherlands.
Answer by da_orangeus
My understanding of this matter is that you’re going to be paying for internet usage on your centro + VOIP charges…
You should not only have a VOIP account with a provider but a data plan as well. IMO it’s gonna be an expensive call.

The prefix is +447624 for this mobile number.
Any idea how can I call this number via voip that is going to give me the biggest savings? Thanks.
Answer by Hise
UK mobile is very very expensive. I dont know why UK is so behind in the mobile world. you can use big names like Rebtel and localphone but there rates are really high for mobile. i use uVOIPit to call UK landlines and there mobile rate is very cheap. try them
