Skype for my business phone..?

I need to configure a minimum of 2 lines for my biz.
Should I purchase a Voip phone, run it into my computer or whatever and hope that I can configure 2 or more lines into it from my utilities menu in skype?
Or… do i need to run 2 lines into the phone,.. one for each line?
I need to have one line always open for other calls.. u see?
Sincerely,
t.a.

If you have an skype account you can download the program in your pc and buy a skype in number with the area code you need, there are other options like to plug a wireless voip phone to your pc, or put a converter box, I bought one in Amazon for $ 20.00 that converts a regular phone in one that can use skype… also from your cell phone if you download fring…. http://www.fring.com you can have access to your skype number and account and you would be paying only the internet use, as long as you pay a flat fare or you got it for free…. if not I think that would be expensive.
And, yes with skype you can buy two different numbers and you can set both.
Hope you do excellent with your company.

Get a service from some VOIP company they will give u a free VOIP adapter, just plug it in your router and then plug a normal telephone and talk.

Vonage, Viatalk, Broadvoice and sooo many. Just select the one which suit your need.

I have done it myself as I am a computer professional and using Linksys 3102. Honestly I will not go for Skype.
