This skype phone doesn’t work with the Mac operating system. Customer service is non-existant. They keep sending me links to a form to fill out. The forms don’t work. No surprise since the phone doesn’t either. This is absolutely the worst company I’ve had to deal with. I’m surprised that Amazon still has them as a supplier. If I could have given negative stars, I would have. DON’T GO THERE!

This phone didn’t work well at all. You cannot select your Skype contacts from the phone, cannot dial a number from the touchpad, and cannot dial last number called. This phone only worked when phone numbers were dialed/chosen from computer screen Skype menu. No customer support available (unknown who the company was). Terrible features, absolutely NO useful instruction manual with it, no speakerphone on the handheld, no Bluetooth access. You would be better off to pay $30+ more to get a name-brand phone with better support/features. It just seems like there was no R&D put into this device. Hope this helps!

As some of the other reviews have mentioned the software and manual for this Skype phone are woefully out of date. Has a very old PC feel – and works about as easily. Loses the connection constantly – and you have to go through the multiple steps to reestablish the connection. If you miss Windows 3.1 and love to have a retro acting phone get this one. Otherwise, look for one that is more 2010. Also beware the Amazon seller (CE Compass) charges a 15% restocking fee (plus you have to pay to ship it back). Looks like they expect a lot of people might want to return this turkey – so they make it difficult.

This phone has terrible documentation that was written in 2005, feels very cheap in your hand, and will not make a connection.

Stay away and save your money. If you’re going to use this, you might as well just use a headset connected to your PC

I use the phone for skype (voip)- works exactly as I expected it to which is perfect to me. I have the based plugged into the computer upstairs via usb and it was immediately recognized by skype- I can walk downstairs and talk anywhere and hear fairly well- it works better NOT held between my shoulder and cheek like when I’m trying to do things with my hands but I’m more than happy to hold it with my hand. very pleased to be able to call my mom and not be stuck by the pc- you obviously have to be BY the computer to disconnect a call and to make a call but talking can be done away from the computer which is exactly what I expected after having used other cheap voip phones. i do NOT know about battery life on the handset because I usually have it on the base-
